State authorities have begin a probe into California State University’s finances after officials refused to part with details of the perks Palin has demanded when she delivers a June speech, Boston Herald reported Thursday.

The investigation was ordered after students found five pages of the speaking engagement contract in the trash last week.

Palin’s demands included first-class flights from Anchorage to California if she flies commercial; and if she doesn’t fly commercial, “the private aircraft MUST BE a Lear 60 or larger”, the contract said.

It also includes a suite and two single rooms in a deluxe hotel near the campus and when she delivers her talk, two water bottles and bendable straws must be on the lectern.

Palin spoke in Boston Wednesday at a Tea Party rally, but organisers said they didn’t foot her bill.

“She paid for all of her expenses, her flights, her hotel, her meals,” Tea Party Express spokesperson Levi Russell was quoted as saying.
