Obama invites Sirajuddin Qureshi to conf of Muslim industrialists

New Delhi: The U.S. President Barrack Obama has extended invitation to Sirajuddin Qureshi, an outstanding Muslim businessman from India, for attending a conference of top Muslim Industrialists and successful businessman from around the world, to be held on 26-27 April 2010 in Washington.

Sirajuddin Qureshi, who would be the only participant from India in the conference, will represent the Indian business fraternity and Muslims in the forthcoming conference. President Obama, while addressing World Muslims at Cairo, had expressed desire for holding such conference. The copy of Obama’s Cairo speech was formally handed over to Sirajuddin Qureshi by a US Diplomat at India Islamic cultural Centre, New Delhi, said Qureshi’s media advisor M. Wadood Sajid.



Qureshi is Managing Director of Hind Group of Companies, mainly engages in exporting meat to over 45 countries. He established the most modern Halal meat process plant at Aligarh in 1989. He played key role in the construction of India Islamic Cultural Centre, an icon of modern day Muslims. He is also the President of Noble Education Foundation, engaged in encouraging and uplifting of Muslim youth for last several years. The Foundation has been extending helping hand to the students by providing short term Personality & Memory Development Training courses and counseling, Sajid added.
