New Delhi : The Prime Minister’s Office (PMO) has rubbished reports that Home Minister P. Chidambaram has been given the charge of overseeing the investigations into financial irregularities by the Indian Premier League (IPL) and its franchises.
“There is no substance in the report that the Prime Minister (Manmohan Singh) has asked the Union Home Minister to oversee the probe into the Indian Premier League activities,” a statement issued by the PMO said Friday.
