Riyadh : The Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries will celebrate “World Day for Safety and Health at Work” April 28.
Tawfiq bin Ahmad Khoja, director general of the executive board of GCC health ministers’ council, said the main objective of the event is to promote safety and good health at work, as part of the efforts launched by the International Labour Organisation.
He commended GCC efforts in improving occupational health and safety in the member countries.
