We are anti-Hindutva and not against Hindus: PFI

By TCN News,

Kerala: “There is a difference between Hinduism and Hindutva. While we want to expose the dirty politics and terror activities of Hindutva organizations like RSS and its associate organizations, we are not at all against Hindus,” said K. M. Shareef, general secretary, Popular Front of India.

“Save India Campaign was a movement against Hindutva terror activities. It is because the governments, both at the center and in various states have accepted that fact that there were indeed many blasts across the country, which were orchestrated by Hindutva organizations,” he further added.

He argued that groups with vested interests are trying to communalize PFI otherwise there was nothing wrong or unlawful in the Save India Campaign posters.

The poster talked about all the terror cases in which Hindutva organizations were allegedly involved; for instance bomb blasts in Samjauta Express, Mecca Masjid Ajmer, Thane, Kanpur, Nanded, Malaegaon, Hubli and in Goa.

Regretting the registration of FIRs against PFI activists in Barabanki (UP), Pune (Maharashtra, Kota (Rajasthan) and Kerala, in relation to the Save India Campaign posters, Mr. Shareef demanded immediate withdrawal of cases against them.

“In fact it is interest of all sections of the India society including Hindus to expose Hidutva ideology which equals communal fascism,” he added
