Aligarh: A Five-day workshop to train students for use of computer in promotion of languages has concluded today at Aligarh Muslim University (AMU). The workshop was jointly organized by Faculty of Linguistics, AMU and Central Institute of Indian Language (CIIL), Mysore.
In his speech AMU Registrar Professor Abdul Jalil appreciated the organizers and teachers for their efforts to hold such workshop and said that it will help students to get expertise in their field as well as will open the door for employment. He also gave away the certificates to the participants.

This five-day workshop was attended by 30 students from Departments of Urdu, English and Linguistics. This was part of LDC-IL scheme for collect theme of Indian languages.

Dr. Arshad Nihal of Faculty of English, Dr. T.N Sesion of Faculty of Modern Indian Languages, AMU and CIIL team comprising Rushda Idris, Shahid Mushtaq Bhat, Preyenka Singh and Mansoor Khan were as guides at the workshop.
