Bhubaneswar: Sixteen students were admitted to hospital on Tuesday after food poisoning in Orissa’s Bhadrak district, an official said.
“The students were admitted to Tihidi primary health centre (PHC) after they complained of dizziness, nausea and stomach pains,” district Chief Medical Officer (CMO) Bhagwan Dixit said.
The students were from a residential school, the Kolha Sri Aurobinda Sikhya Kendra, in the district’s Tihidi block. Most of the students are out of danger but seven are under close observation, PHC medical officer Minati Das said.
Bhadrak District is 140 km from the state capital.
