Srinagar: There are many anti-social agencies which are saying that Kashmiri people are against the Amarnath yatra as this is propaganda to put dispute in valley and we strongly condemn these statements and acts, APHC (M) spokesman said in a statement.
He said that we people of Kashmir believe that Amarnath pilgrims are our guests even in this disturbed situation we are here to host them and will try to give them every facility, they will need during the pilgrimage. As yesterday in Anantnag when there were protest everywhere and situation was tense but keeping it aside residents of Anantnag helped every pilgrim till they reach their destination.
According to the statement, “we want to make it clear that people of Kashmir are protesting for their legal right, against human rights violation and for the solution of dispute belonging to all three regions, which is Jammu, Kashmir and Ladakh.”
He added, “We want that government should realize the feelings and aspirations of people of Jammu and Kashmir and also should not give our peaceful process a new dimension which is very much far away from the reality.”
He said, “We strongly condemn the barbaric acts of security personnel when our innocent brothers were protesting in mosques where these personnel entered and brutally beat them particularly in most parts of old city.”
In statement issued by APHC (M) has requested people of Kashmir, that in this disturbed situation people should have to be more strong and help those who are in need in any way possible.
