New Delhi: The official residence here of a Congress MP from Rajasthan was broken into Friday night, police said Saturday.
The house at 214, North Avenue was allotted to Barmer MP Harish Choudhary.
Choudhary was not at his residence when the break-in took place, having left the capital on July 1 for a visit to his constituency.
When contacted, he said: “I heard that the lock of the door has been broken. Till now, what I have heard is that everything is safe. Police are investigating the matter.”
Additional Commissioner of Police Shankar Dash said a team has been sent at the spot to investigate the matter.
