Haryana State Industrial and Infrastructure Development Corporation (HSIIDC) managing director Rajeev Arora said Sunday that 87 plots, ranging from one to 13 acres, and 48 plots, ranging from one to five acres, will be offered.

The plots will be offered to industrial houses and other units in phase I and II at the industrial model township (IMT) at Rohtak, 45 km from the Delhi-Haryana border, on national highway 10.

Arora said that the industrial plots are being offered in the 4,000-acre IMT-Rohtak, a self-contained township, offering facilities for industrial, residential, commercial, institutional and transport complexes.

“First, we will invite prestigious projects, involving an investment of Rs.30 crore or more, followed by allotments to others,” Arora said.

He said that the fully developed-and-allotment-ready phase I, spanning about 900 acres, has already attracted big names in industry.

Plots have been allotted to leaders like Maruti Suzuki India Ltd (700 acres); Asian Paints (130 acres); Hi-Tech Plastics (10 acres); Blow Packaging Ltd (3 acres) and SHV Energy Ltd (5 acres).

“These and other projects for which plots have already been allotted in Phase I, would involve an investment of more than Rs.2,200 crore. While Asian Paints, Hi-tech Plastics and Blow Packaging are already in production, others are coming up fast,” Arora added.
