R-Ifra bags Rs.3,000-crore Delhi-Agra road project

New Delhi : Anil Dhirubhai Ambani Group firm Reliance Infrastructure has signed an agreement with the National Highways Authority of India for developing the Rs.3,000 crore Delhi-Agra highway project.

“R-Infra has signed a concession agreement for six-laning of the 180-km stretch of the Delhi-Agra road project,” the company said in a statement.

The total cost of the project is estimated to be around Rs.3,000 crore and is expected to be completed in 36 months.

The company is developing 11 road projects aggregating the length of 970 km with a cost outlay of Rs.12,000 crore.

With three six-laning projects under development, having a length of 380 km, Reliance Infrastructure has become the largest developer of six-lane road projects.

“RInfra has already emerged as one of the largest developers of road and highway projects. We will maintain our leadership position in the road sector and will look for various opportunities available across the country,” said Lalit Jalan, director, Reliance Infrastructure.
