By IRNA,
Ankara : Turkish Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu stressed the tripartite Tehran Declaration was still valid despite the United Nations Security Council resolution.
He said talks on the issue will be held probably in September.
Making the remarks in a news program in CNN Turk, he said Turkey’s negative response to the anti-Iran resolution has created no problems for it in its ties with Washington.
He further said the latest UNSC resolution has had no effect on the validity of the Tehran Declaration, adding that talks were presently going on within the framework of the declaration at expert levels.
Saying that talks will be held in September, Davutoglu went on to note that though the date might slightly differ, the fact remains that parties want Turkey to participate in the talks.
