Hurriyat comes with new protest programme

Srinagar: The Hurriyat Conference led by Syed Ali Shah Geelani has announced another fresh protest program which includes complete shut down on Sunday 1st August 2010, on the recent killings in Kashmir Valley.

As a part of “Quit Kashmir” movement, Hurriyat Conference (G) on Saturday announced another fresh protest programme for the next few days.

The Statement issued by Hurriyat (G) says that fresh protest calendar was Presided by acting chairman of Hurriyat (G) G.N. Sumji.

According to APHC (G) programme, people have been asked to observe complete shutdown on Sunday (1st August) and the residents of Srinagar and Budgam have been asked to March towards Chanapora on Monday (2nd August).

On the same day, as per the programme (Monday), people of Kupwara and Baramulla in North Kashmir, have been asked to March towards Sopore, and while as Anantnag and Pulwama residents have been asked to March to Tral.

On Tuesday (3rd August), Sumji has urged people to protest and observe strike against the human rights violation which is being committed on Kashmiris.
