AMU deploys officers at Malappuram Center

Aligarh: Amidst court cases against its off-campus centres including one in Malappuram (Kerala), Aligarh Muslim University has deployed high rank officers to run the show. AMU VC has ordered to transfer the services of Prof Mohammad Arif to work as Officer-on-Special-Duty (Administration) at Malappuram Special Center.

Prof Arif from Department of Civil Engineering, Zakir Husain College of Engineering & Technology, will work there as Officer-on-Special-Duty (Administration) on deputation basis, initially for a period of three months with effect from the date he assumes his charge.

The VC has also ordered to transfer the services of Mr. Ataat Husain, Assistant Registrar (Academic) to work as Assistant Registrar at Malappuram on deputation.

Both these persons will continue to draw their salaries, plus deputation allowances as per University rules.
