Lucknow : A fire enveloped a commercial building near the Raj Bhawan here Friday, but there were no casualties and everyone in the complex was evacuated to safety, an official said.
The fire broke out in the office of stockbroking firm Karvy and spread to other commercial outlets in the building in Hazratganj area.
“We controlled the fire and prevented it from spreading to nearby buildings,” Chief Fire Officer Rajendra Tiwari said.
