Miami : India’s Somdev Devvarman went down to 85th-ranked Ukrainian and third seed Illya Marchenko in the second round of the Sony Ericsson Open tennis qualifiers here.
Somdev, ranked 120, lost 4-6, 3-6 Tuesday. The Indian had defeated Frenchman David Guez in the first round.
India’s teenage sensation Yuki Bhambri had already lost in the first round of qualifiers Monday with a straight set loss to Uzbek Denis Istomin.
