New Delhi: The Academy of Professional Development of Urdu Medium Teachers, Jamia Millia Islamia is going to organize a Seven-Day Orientation Programme for Madarsa Teachers of Madhya Pradesh starting from November 8, 2010.
The Inaugural Session of the programme will be held on November 8, 2010 at 10.30 AM in the Committee Room of Nehru Guest House, Jamia Millia Islamia.
Prof. Ghazanfar Ali, Director of the Academy will deliver the welcome address, while Prof. S.M. Sajid, Registrar will inaugurate the session. Prof. Khalid Mehmood, Head, Department of Urdu shall be the Guest of Honour.
Dr. Mufti Mohammad Mukarram Ahmed, Imam-o-Khateeb, Shahi Masjid Fatehpuri, will deliver the Presidential Address on this occasion.
The Academy organizes short term training programmes, seminars, workshops, conventions, extension lectures, consultancy services, interaction programmes, literary and cultural programmes, exhibitions etc. round the year.
The Academy of Professional Development of Urdu Medium Teachers has been of late engaged in organizing Orientation Courses for Urdu Teachers of Jodhpur, Punjab, and Municipal Corporation of Delhi, Jamia Middle School among others in the last few months. The objective of such courses is to provide support to Urdu Medium Schools with the purpose of improving the quality of education in such schools.
