Muslim businessman discusses meat trade, peace with Obama

New Delhi: During meeting with US President Barack Hussain Obama, famous industrialist and president of India Islamic Cultural Centre, Sirajuddin Quraishi, has discussed various issues including peace in West Asia and meat trade in the US. Quraishi urged Obama to promote meat business in America.

Sirajuddin Quraishi, who is managing director of leading meat company Hind Agro Industries Limited, was invited at the conference in Mumbai on 6th Nov. wherein Obama interacted with Indian industrialists. He got some especial time on the sideline of the conference to put the issues before the US President.

Mr. Quraishi also told him that injustice with people of weaker sections must be stopped for the establishment of peace in the world. He also drew his attention towards the problem of Palestinians.

It is to be noted here that earlier this year Mr. Quraishi was also invited to the global conference of entrepreneurs in Washington.

The Hind Agro Industries Limited exports meat to more than 45 countries and has been given Best Exporter Award by Ministry of Commerce of Indian Government.
