New Delhi: Minister of State for Planning and Parliamentary Affairs V. Narayanaswamy Monday was given additional charge of the personnel, public grievances and pensions ministry.
Narayanswamy was given the portfolio, which was earlier held by Prithviraj Chavan who quit the cabinet to become chief minister in Maharashtra.
“The President of India on the recommendation of the prime minister has also directed that Shri V.Narayanaswamy, Minister of State in the Ministry of Planning and Minister of State in the Ministry of Parliamentary Affairs, shall be assigned additional work as Minister of State in the Ministry of Personnel, Public Grievances and Pensions,” said a Rashtrapati Bhavan communique.
