New Delhi: Engineering conglomerate Crompton Greaves Ltd Monday reported a 16.45 percent increase in its net profit for the second quarter which stood at Rs.158.49 crore as compared to Rs 136.10 crore in 2009.
The company’s total income also reported an increase of 14.51 percent to reach Rs. 1,464.07 crore in the second quarter from Rs.1,278.49 crore in 2009.
The consolidated net profit of the group increased by 10.45 percent and stood at Rs. 213.59 crore as against Rs.193.37 crore in 2009.
The total income also increased by 9.8 percent in the second year at Rs. 2,420.66 crore as compared to Rs.2,204.35 crore for the same quarter last year.
