Srinagar: On Sunday, 5th of September, Agence India Press remembered the youngest photographer of Kashmir, Allah Rakha Khan, on his first death anniversary.
After a short inning of clicking some fantastic pictures and winning hearts of people in a very short duration, Khan passed away, at the age of 18.
It was on this date, 5th September, when Khan was going to Dargah Hazratbal to cover Shab-e-Qadar. He was killed by a speedy tipper near Munwarabad link road, when it was
running on wrong side of the road,
Members of AIP paid homage at his burial site and also offered prayers there. A memorial meeting was also held at the AIP office with its editor in chief, Sheikh Imran in the chair.
