Two persons have been detained here for questioning in connection with the e-mail. The police have not given details about the identity of the arrested persons. However, the police have reportedly found that the address given at the time of buying the mobile phone and SIM card is not genuine.

About two hours after the firing in Delhi, injuring two Taiwanese tourists, an email was sent to media organizations, wherein the IM had vaguely claimed the responsibility of the firing, and threatening for more attacks to revenge blood in Kashmir.

According to media reports, the SIM card as well as the phone was purchased using a fake address and name, and when Maharashtra ATS and crime branch officers reached the address, they did not find anyone by that name living there.

In the email, the terror group IM said the attack is a tribute to Atif Amin and Mohammad Sajid – the two alleged terror suspects were killed by police in Batla House encounter on September 19, 2008.
