New Delhi : Finance Minister Pranab Mukherjee has expressed confidence that the Commonwealth Games would be conducted “properly and smoothly”.
Mukherjee told the Congress-controlled Jai Hind TV channel that there was no problem in conducting the Oct 3-14 Games.
“I am quite confident that the Commonwealth Games will be conducted smoothly, and (the) country will be happy to see (it) being conducted properly and smoothly. And there is no problem in conducting the Games,” Mukherjee told the Kerala based channel which telecast the interview Monday.
