Damascus : At least 19 Syrians were killed and 75 were wounded amid anti-government protests, state-run SANA news agency reported.
The casualties in Friday’s protests in Daraa town, 100 km south of Damascus, were all from the security forces and police, according to Xinhua.
Earlier on the day, thousands of Syrians took to the streets in major Syrian cities including Damascus, Daraa, Homs, Latakia and Der el-Zour.
