New Delhi : Delhi police Monday arrested four men for the rape of a Class 10 student first by her relative and later, while escaping from him, by a three-member gang.
“The girl was first raped by her relative Hanuman Prasad Mishra, 40. When she managed to escape from his home, Bijender, 24, a car driver, and his two associates – Vinod, 30, and Parveen, 27, – raped her again,” Deputy Commissioner of Police (South) H.G.S. Dhaliwal, said.
According to the official, “Mishra brought the girl to his rented accommodation in Rangpuri Saturday on the pretext of getting her prize from his company and raped her.”
“She escaped from the house late in the night and took a lift in a car for Faridabad. Bijender, the driver, along with two others Vinod and Parveen, took her to a lonely place in Dwarka and raped her again,” Dhaliwal said.
Bijender was arrested from the spot when the police reached there after they received a call from a person who found the girl scuffling with the man. The other three were held Monday, police said.
