Islamabad : As many as 68 posts of high court judges were lying vacant in Pakistan, a minister has revealed.
Law Minister Babar Awan told the National Assembly Monday that high courts were short of 68 judges, Dawn reported Tuesday.
The minister said 28 posts of judges were vacant in the Lahore High Court, 20 in the Sindh High Court and 10 in the Peshawar High Court. Six posts were vacant in the Balochistan High Court and four in the Islamabad High Court.
