New Delhi : Five people, including three juvenilles, were arrested for sodomising and killing a Class 7 student in the national capital, police said Wednesday.”Yunus, 25, Mukesh, 20, and three juveniles, all residents of Govindpuri (in south Delhi), were held from their homes Tuesday,” said a senior police officer.
Police found the naked body of a 16-year-old boy in a Delhi Development Authority park in Okhla Industrial Area Monday morning with several injury marks. The boy was identified as Mahadeb Baidya, a resident of Govindpuri area.
During investigation, police found that he was last seen with Yunus, Mukesh and the three minors.
“During interrogation, the accused told us that they had called Baidya for drinking and then on the pretext of going to Kalkajee Temple, they took him to the park, sodomised him and then killed him,” said the officer.
“The juveniles have been sent to an observation home,” said the officer.
