Kolkata : Heavy rainfall have flooded parts of Kolkata, disrupting train services.
A cyclonic formation on the Bay of Bengal triggered a rainfall of 77.5 millimeter from Sunday evening to Monday evening.
Several parts of central and northern Kolkata were water clogged, disrupting road traffic.
Due to water logging at Tikiapara and Howrah areas, several train services were cancelled or rescheduled.
These included long-distance trains, including to New Delhi.
