New Delhi : The Congress core group met Friday evening to discuss the latest situation arising out of the fast by civil society leader Anna Hazare, party sources said.
Prime Minister Manmohan Singh, senior ministers and party leaders attended the meeting.
According to party sources, the government would express its readiness for talks if the civil society leaders demanded so. However, there may not be any dramatic developments as the bill is under the consideration of the standing committee of the parliament, the sources added.
