“The Indian IT-BPO industry has had a phenomenal run over the last decade, contributing immensely to India’s growth,” Nasscom chairman Harsh Manglik said.

“It is imperative for industry stakeholders to break out of the traditional mould that resulted in past successes and step up to the aspirations of 2020. I hope this event will provide the platform for the industry to discuss, debate and strategise the growth path ahead,” he added.

The industry vision for 2020 includes building a $225 billion industry and lead the way in transforming business globally as well as transforming India.

The key drivers to be discussed at the three-day event include demographic shifts that will fuel the growth of new sectors like healthcare and collaboration between countries, customer and provider as well as government, industry and society.

The forum has a well structured agenda that looks at key trends and issues for the current environment as well as for long-term impact, Nasscom president Som Mittal said.

Over 1600 delegates from 32 countries are taking part in the event.
