According to the police, the rebels of the People’s Liberation Front of India (PLFI) killed Surendra Sao, a resident of Bakre village of Gumla district, some 140 km from here.

Police suspect the killing could be the outcome of rivalry of Maoist groups as Surendra is said to be a supporter of PLFI’s rival group.
