New Delhi : It was a clear and hot day in Delhi Monday as the maximum temperature settled two notches above average at 37.7 degrees Celsius. The met office has, however, forecast rains Tuesday.
“The skies will remain partly cloudy tomorrow (Tuesday) and there is possibility of thunder showers in some parts of the city,” an official of the India Meteorological Department (IMD) said.
“The maximum and minimum temperatures are expected to hover around 36 and 28 degrees Celsius, respectively,” he added.
The city Monday receiving bright sunshine throughout the day. Earlier, the minimum temperature was recorded a notch above normal at 28 degrees Celsius.
The maximum and minimum humidity levels wavered between a high of 77 and a low of 44 percent, added the IMD official.
