Chandigarh : Punjab Chief Minister Parkash Singh Badal spent the night Thursday at a government school in a village in Muktsar district – all to relate to the rural people.
Although critics might call it a gimmick, Badal Friday said he would do it again.
He said he would hold a ‘Sangat Darshan’ (meeting public) “to feel the pulse of the people so that he could address the problems being confronted by them in a far more meaningful and result oriented manner”.
Thursday night, Badal, 84, not only took community kitchen food but also listened to religious hymns at the village gurdwara.
