13 dead, 81 injured confirms, CM Chavan

New Delhi: Talking to media the Chief Minster Maharashtra Ashok Chavan confirmed that 13 people have been killed and 81 injured in the serial blasts which rocked the city of Mumbai this evening between 6:50 and 7:04.

According to the blast timings released by the Mumbai police: Zaveri Bazar 6:54 pm, Opera House 6:55 pm, Dadar 7:05 pm. In last 9 years this is the third blast in100 meter radiance of Zaveri Bazar where 6 people have been dead and 17 injured in the blast this evening.

The CM Chavan also said that the blast at Opera house was the most strongest of the three. Rest two of them happened at Zaveri Bazar and at Dadar West. Importantly Chavan refused to comment on who might be responsible for the blasts.

Calling it as an “attack on only the heart of Mumbai but also an attack on the heart of India,” Chavan said that, “our priority now is to make sure that there are no more bobs hidden on other places. We are also doing our best in providing medical help to the injured.”
