New Delhi: It was a relatively pleasant day for the capital Thursday with the mercury at the below-average level for this time of the year. The Met department has forecast rain over the next 24 hours.
According to the India Meteorological Department (IMD), the maximum temperature recorded Thursday was two notches below the average, at 37 degrees Celsius.
The minimum temperature was a notch below average at 26.8 degrees Celsius.
“The city received 0.2 mm rainfall over the past 24 hours since 8.30 a.m. this morning. According to our forecast, there is a possibility of rain and thundershowers tomorrow (Friday),” an IMD official said.
“The minimum and maximum temperatures on Friday are expected to hover around 28 and 36 degrees Celsius respectively,” the official added.
