New Delhi : Seven poor students who made it to the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) were Tuesday felicitated by Indraprastha Gas Limited (IGL), a statement said.
“We had provided free coaching for 10 months along with food, shelter, textbooks and other basic needs to these students at a centre in Indirapuram, Ghaziabad,” said IGL chairman B.C. Tripathi.
“As part of our commitment to connect with society, we sponsored these students from economically weaker sections of society for specialized coaching,” he added.
