Dubai: Emirates India Fraternity Forum (EIFF), a UAE based Indian social welfare association, organized a family get together program entitled Healthy Islamic Family on 22nd April in Ryan Star International School in Sharjah, UAE.
The program started at 5.30 PM with recitation of Qur’an by Mr Abdul Ghafoor, and Mr M.S. Addul Hameed delivered a welcome address. Mr. Ashraf Ali, Treasurer, EIFF, introduced EIFF and its various social welfare activities. He said EIFF is actively engaged in various social activities like conducting Blood Donation Camp, ‘’Get Well Soon’’ Program, beach and public area cleaning in collaboration with Dubai Municipality and rendering financial, legal and moral assistance to the needy on the occasions of UAE National Day, Indian Independence Day, etc.
Prof. Syed Ali delivered a valedictory speech on Well To Do Family in Islamic Perspective; he highlighted the importance of cleanliness and hygiene in Islamic perspective.
Guest speeches were delivered by Gynecologist Dr. Rani Natarajan of Prime Medical Center, Deira and Physiotherapist Dr. Ismail of Rahsid Hospital, Dubai on Breast Cancer and General Health Awareness respectively. Dr. Ismail gave health tips to lead a successful healthy family and also did demonstration of simple exercises in order to prevent back pain.
Mr. Haja Alaudeen, HR Manager, STRATA, presided over the function.
Mementos were presented to all chief guests and delegates. Special entertainment arrangements and Qur’an recitation, running and Grab the Stone competitions were done for the children separately with special care and prizes distributed to the child winners.
Besides, special free consultation session by Dr. Rani Natarajan was arranged in a separate hall for ladies.
Mrs Yasmin Riyasudeen delivered a conclusive speech and program concluded with the vote of thanks by Mr. Basheer.
The program was followed by dinner for the participants.
