Lahore : Pakistan-US ties should be reviewed following the US raid in Abbottabad to kill Osama bin Laden, said opposition Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) chief Nawaz Sharif.
US Navy SEALs killed Osama May 2 in Abbottabad. The Al Qaeda leader had been hiding in a high-walled mansion that was a stone’s throw away from the Pakistan Military Academy, Kakul.
Nawaz Sharif Tuesday said that the Abbottabad incident was “an attack on the sovereignty”, reported Geo News.
The former prime minister also demanded that an independent commission should be constituted. The panel should consist of an equal number of members both from government and the opposition to probe the incident.
