Beijing : At least 39 people were injured Friday in a blast at a bank in northwest China’s Gansu province. Authorities called it a case of arson.
The explosion took place at the Rural Credit Cooperatives in Wuwei city at around 8.30 a.m. when the bank employees were having a meeting, reported Xinhua.
Authorities described the blast as “arson”.
A witness was quoted as saying that someone had ignited a homemade “gasoline bomb”.
