Organised at Idgah Aishbagh the seminar ended with a resolution that the students of Dar-ul-Iftah (centre of fatwah) and Dar-ul-Qaza (shariat court) at all the Madarsas, should be provided with education on Information Technology and modern Economics. “Knowledge of Information Technology and modern Economics is necessary for both these centers as they are directly related to the daily life of people. It is important that the students in these centers should remain updated with contemporary times,” said Maulana Rabey Hasan Nadwi, president, All India Muslim Personal Law Board (AIMPLB) and Rector, Nadwatul Uloom.

Maulana Nadwi opined that as common man approaches Dar-ul-Iftah and Dar-ul-Qaza directly, the suggestions and solutions provided to him should be based on modern educational parameters. On the occasion Maulana Mohamamd Rabbe Hasni Nadvi was also conferred with the Ustadul Hind Allama Nizamuddin Mohammad Farangi Mahli Award.

The clerics favoring the suggestion stated that it was necessary and it will help in eliminating confusion. Usually the fatwas delivered are often tested on modern parameters and often a sense of confusion prevails over their relevance.

The conference was attended by eminent clerics from India and abroad who highlighted the role of the clerics of Farangi Mahal and their yeomen service towards Islamic literature.
