New Delhi: The National Commission For Minority Educational Institutions (NCMEI) has granted minority status to Yenepoya University in Mangalore, Karnataka. According to official communication from NCMEI, the commission granted the status to the university vide order dated 02nd November, 2011 in Case No. 1306 of 2011.
The order was passed by the bench headed by NCMEI Chairman, Justice M.S.A. Siddiqui and Members Dr. Mohinder Singh and Dr. Cyriac Thomas.
