New Delhi: Maulana Usman Mansoorpuri, President of Jamiat Ulama-i-Hind has strongly condemned Delhi High Court blast as barbaric, inhuman and cowardly. Expressing grief over the loss of innocent lives, he maintained that such dastardly acts are due to failure of our intelligence agencies.
“We cannot take on this curse with being half-awaken and wait for another one to take place before getting alert. There are seven-eight agencies catering to intelligence gathering, including the IB (Intelligence Bureau) and RAW (Research and Analysis Wing). There is multiplication of agencies, but all of them failed as far as precaution is concerned. We need to upgrade our intelligence to prevent another terror strikes and also tackle the crisis of credibility in investigation and conviction”, said JUH chief.
He urged for comprehensive ant-terror policy that captures all terror groups including saffron terror. “For strong commitment to combat terrorism, government must include all terrorist organizations. In this regard, the recent Mumbai session court’s verdict convicting tow persons belonging to revivalist Hindu organization Sanatan Sanstha and statement of Home Minister P. Chidambaram fearing growing danger of homegrown Hindu terrorists cannot be overlooked,” JUH chief said.
He appealed to people of the country to remain calm and stand united in this hour of grief and pain. Unity of the nation and so communal harmony must be preserved at all costs in order to defeat the designs of terror groups.
