Islamabad : Pakistan Information Minister Firdous Ashiq Awan, a doctor, examined women and children at a relief camp in Sindh’s province.
Sindh province has been impacted by floods that have reportedly left over 200 people dead.
Awan Thursday examined pregnant women, children and other rain affected women at a relief camp set up at H.M. Khoja High School, reported Associated Press of Pakistan.
She also provided medicines to the patients.
The minister said that millions of people had been rendered homeless and were living under the sky.
The present flood and rains are a huge disaster that require the attention of friendly countries, she added.
