Lucknow; Eminent Shia cleric Maulana Kalbe Jawwad’s scheduled fast on Friday against Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi’s recently concluded three-day upvas has received support from other communities.
The prominent personalities who will be sitting on fast along with Maulana Jawwad include Swami Agnivesh, Rakesh Nath from Badrinath Dham, Acharya Jugal Kishore Shastri from Ayodhya and Pramod Krishna from Akhil Bhartiya Mahant Sansthan. Principal Christ College, Rakesh Chatri has also given his consent about his presence to lend support to the
cleric.
Maulana Jawad had announced to observe a fast praying for political end of Narendra Modi, Gujarat Chief Minister on Friday. He has also issued appeal to people to observe fast and vrats to be part of the special prayers close under the heels of Gujarat Chief Minister’s three-day fast. The fast that will begin at dawn will also comprise a gathering after Friday prayers at Asafi Imambara.
