Guwahati: The Assam unit of All India Secular Forum (AISF) has demanded adequate compensation for all those who lost lives or property in the recent Assam violence.
Bodo-Muslim clash that has killed over 80 and rendered over 4 lakhs people homeless continue to simmer with incident of fresh violence still being reported.
AISF asked government of Assam and Centre to take strong measures to bring back normalcy in the region.
The Forum also asked that the government set up sufficient outposts in the Muslim concentrated areas of Bodo Territorial Autonomous Districts consisting of Kokrajhar, Baska, Udalguri and Chirang.
