Hyderabad: Indian Muslims have entered Ramadan, a month of mercy, in agony as their fellow community members were attacked in Assam by Bodo community in the name of ethnic clash.
“This attack is a part of larger conspiracy to uproot Assamese Muslims and create a terror environment among the community across India,” said MP Asaduddin Owaisi here in Hyderabad.
AIMIM supremo, who visited violence-hit areas and consoled the victims, said Bodos are indulged in ethnic cleansing and they have dismantled hundreds of homes.
Numerous people were forced to migrate, while those who are coping up with the difficult situation in the state have suffered many blows, including psychological.
“Neither the UPA government nor the state government seem to take necessary action to stop this attack and rehabilitate those affected,” Owaisi told a mass gathering in Masjid- e-Azizia during his speech.
He urged Muslim youth in particularly to wake up and protect the community, extend help to the victims, and pray for the well-being of the community.

Barrister Owaisi reiterated that if the government does not take immediate necessary action to rehabilitate the victims and provide them protection and fulfill their basic needs, results would not be good.
