The Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) has identified top 200 smart cards users, who have travelled the maximum from Nov 2011-Oct 2012.

“We have selected and come out with a list of top 200 smart card users who have utilised or travelled extensively on the Metro from Nov 2011 to Oct 2012,” DMRC spokesman Anuj Dayal said. The selected users will be felicitated at a function.

Commuters can check their smart card physical ID number on the top right-hand side corner on the reverse side of the cards and check whether it is on the list put up at all Metro stations.

They can also contact station managers or visit the website — www.delhimetrorail.com — to check whether their number is on the list.

Nearly 1.5 million smart cards are at present in circulation. About 1.8 million commuters ride Metro trains daily in the city. While 55 percent of commuters use smart cards, the rest use tokens.
