Berlin : Iraqi President Jalal Talabani has arrived in Germany for medical treatment after suffering a stroke earlier this week, the German foreign ministry said.
Foreign Minister Guido Westerwelle has said that he sent Talabani his best wishes for “a complete recovery”. The 79-year-old president had suffered a stroke Monday night.
Earlier on Wednesday, Iraqi doctors gave the green light to Talabani to travel to Geramny after medical tests confirmed his stable condition, Xinhua reported.
