Kolkata: The city of Kolkata is always delighted to organize rallies and seminars to remember the revolution of Russia, Cuba etc. but never called a seminar or symposium on Arab Revolution. SIO is remembering the recent Arab Revolution through this seminar, said Shahnawaz Ali Raihan, former national secretary of Students Islamic Organisation of India (SIO).
Revolution is taking place throughout the world particularly Arab world, be it Egypt or Tunisia. Youngsters are playing the key role. But the western society always follows and remembers the revolution of Russia, Cuba or Brazil. They had never seen kind of the Arab revolution. Yet, they are not remembering it, said the speakers at the seminar “Arab Revolution: Turning Phase of World Politics’. The program was organised by SIO, West Bengal Zone at Tuberculosis Hall, Park Circus, Kolkata on 30th January, 2012.

Former national president of SIO, Mr Suhail KK expressed his views on the topic in the seminar. He says this century has given birth to a new young generation. In just one year, the young generation has brought revolution in Egypt and Tunisia.
State President of Welfare Party of India Dr. Raisuddin, State President of Jamaat-e-Islami Hind Md. Nuruddin, West Bengal State President of SIO also spoke at the seminar.
