Azamgarh: After sweeping victory in the recently held UP assembly elections, Samajwadi Party has now allowed its elected MLAs to visit their constituency to thank the voters and get themselves apprised of their problems. Azamgarh MLAs are also visiting their constituency.
Mr. Waseem Ahmad, Minister of State and Mr. Shah Alam, BSP MLA on Tuesday visited the Shibli Academy and were happy to take time out of their busy schedule to pay their respect to the Director Professor Ishtiaq Ahmad Zilli. Prof. Zilli and Maulana Umair-us-Siddiq reminded them of the great work ahead and advised them to set an example with their honest and integral work for the development of neglected Azamgarh district, in particular, and the whole State of U.P. in general.
Mr. Waseem Ahmad is a third time MLA and is liked by all and sundry in his constituency, Gopalpur. He used to regularly visit his constituency and solve problems of common man even when he was not MLA during the last five years. Mr. Shah Alam alias Guddu Jamali is the Managing Director of Purvanchal Construction Ltd. and is a successful businessman. People of Mubarakpur constituency, once a flourishing town due to hand-loom industry, have great expectations with Shah Alam who has shown genuine concern to lift them out of the quagmire.
